Final Fantasy issues

so I've been playing final fantasy III lately. And like every rpg, theres some wierd things that happen that no one really questions. and sure, most of these topics have been hit with several webcomics, but do I care? no.

moving on, seriously, you'd think someone would care that I just walked up in their place, found their secret stash of weapons, and just walked out.

and there's a flippin legend for EVERYTHING. "legend says that the legendary masamune sword is hidden in this cave north of so and so, and it just so happens that someone told you to go there after your last quest and me telling you this is just a coincidence." or maybe, "legend says that four heroes would walk into my home and kill a giant rat monster, the prophecies were true!"

you sorta get the feeling that an entire continent is set on making you believe your a hero, like its some practical joke. "yay the heroes defeated *chuckle* the evil sorceror *snicker* BWAHHAAHAHAA, fooled you guys, seriously, we had you going for, like, 5 days straight man, awesome!"

oh, and one more thing, how is it I can do more damage with BOOKS than staffs that DEAL LIGHTNING!
