ANYWAY. Zombieland has become my favorite zombie movie EVER. Like I've been to the future and those movies sucked. Time Travel. Not even in a "that was good for a zombie movie" kind of way, but in a cinematography and writing sort of way. I was kinda pissed that it was supposed to be a TV show but CBS ditched it, cause it would have been awesome. Go see it, any real praise of the movie would just be spoilers. It's hilarious and well done, that's all you need to know.
Moving on. Excuse time. Lack of drawings. There's this project that my friends and I have been working on and has really only been a idea for the longest time. ok... "have been working on" means brainstorming and tossing out ideas and directions for where it can go. that's vague. It started when my friend had an awesome idea for a zombie based sitcom and then sort of evolved into how my certain group of friends would deal with zombies personally. Not in a overblown, "we're hard core and will kill towns worth of zombies" way, but realistically what our reactions would be based on different zombie scenarios. So... basically what Zombieland would have been if it WERE a TV show. See where I'm going? But this is something we've talked about for freak'n ever and there's a film festival coming up and we wanted to do... I wanted to do something for it.
But...
We're lazy. So our plan was sort of to start off with a radio drama of sorts, then throw some pictures in for good measure. And... maybe if it doesn't suck that someone could just throw together an animation of whatever we were talking about. community driven zombie story. But that's a lot of hope we're not banking on. I might not film it, but it wouldn't be too hard, considering where I'm thinking of going with it.
all this to say that lack of updates may very well be the result of zombie media production. I made that excuse last year and kinda failed. Like, when I read it in World War Z, it sounded awesome. then I filmed everything word for word and I realized it sucked in practice. Some stories are just exaggerated enough to sound cool, but turns out weren't awesome at all.
good news though. I think I can finish my zombie arc in 2 or 3 pages. It's hard to tell how something's going to go down when you just sort of make up each page as you're doing it. I had this awesome idea, and it involved zombies, then I realized I've been trying to get away from zombies for freak'n ever, so I put it on the back burner for now.
to review: watch Zombieland, comics are running late as usual, working on new zombie project.

Any pics in my gallery that look good are because God shone through. Any that don't are because I wasn't listening to Him.
Hope you'll give it a try.
